Frank writes historical fiction. His first book, Beantown Pirates, is based on the little known true story of Philippe de FoisGras, a pirate who terrorized Boston Harbor in the early 1600s.
Frank has basic word processing and email skills and would like a blog-style site where he can interact with his readers. He prefer's a site that is part of an existing community of people who might share his interests.

Frank has chosen LiveJournal (one of several social networking sites dubbed "MySpace for Grown Ups") because it allows him to write blog articles related to his writing and to establish a network of friends and fans that are also part of the LiveJournal community. LiveJournal also has specific subject matter areas: Life, Entertainment, Music, Culture, News & Politics, and Technology. A fun feature on LiveJournal is a tool called Snap that will create a website snapshot every time Frank adds a website link to an article, journal entry, or his profile information.
Some Recommendations: - register a domain name (e.g. FranklinFunnelweb.com) and point it to his LiveJournal site
- get a Facebook account and create a fan page
- join LinkedIn.com and find groups (e.g. history buffs) who relate to his interests
Visit Frank's Live Journal Site in a new tab or window. |

Like all of our authors, Frank is a fictitious character and you can't really buy his books, but just for fun we thought we'd display some in a fictitious bookstore, click on a cover to see... because, of course, you will want to have real links to your works. |
