Leslie Longlegs (Chick Lit)

Leslie LinglegsLeslie is a very hip Chick Lit author. Her books are Shagging the Guy on Bass, Guys are Such... Guys, and most recently, Brenda's Got Brass Ones.

Technically aware and competent, she's using MySpace to promote her novels, primarily because of the demographic of her primary audience.

She wants to increase her visibility and develop a strong rapport with her readers.

It is a place that allows her fans to get to know her, and she can better understand want they want to read. MySpace provides a format for blogging, for messaging and communication, and a way that friends can post messages on Leslie's profile. She can upload photos, and even select her favorite songs to play on her profile page.

Some Recommendations:

  • register a domain name (e.g. leslielonglegs.com) and direct it to her MySpace page
  • get a Facebook account and create a fan page
