This content management system (CMS) is Open Source software called Drupal (www.drupal.org). It is one of the most popular choices for content management. Once the initial installation is complete (in just a few minutes on a Simple Scripts or Fantastico-enabled server), content can be added quickly with absolutely no programming. Another popular CMS package that we use on a regular basis is Joomla! (www.joomla.org), which is used for the Playing Spider home website.

Both of these take a little techical skill to configure, but are extremely flexible in capabilities. Joomla is a bit easier for novice content creators to use. The design of these websites is infinitely customizable and there are dozens of free or low cost templates (this one you're looking at is free) available from the software provider or third party sources.
